October 2011 Regular SMUG Meeting
This month’s SMUG meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at the STFD#1
The topic for this meeting will be “Browsing Browsers”, which will be presented by Jerry Brasseur, Cameron Welch and Rick Megerle.
We open the doors at 6 PM for those needing some extra help.
The meeting begins at 7 PM.
October 2011 MIAMUG Regular Meeting
As you are aware, SMUG members are also welcome at the Midland Club’s meetings. This month’s MIAMUG meeting will feature Mike PJ continuing his excellent presentation on Lion.
The MIAMUG meeting will take place on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 9:30 am at the Wheeler Road Church of Christ in Midland.
October 2011 Web Development SIG Meeting
The meeting will take place on Tue. Oct 4, 2011 7 – 9 pm at the Wheeler Road Church of Christ in Midland.
We plan to have you use your copy of RapidWeaver (or whatever web design software you choose to use) to create a practice website on your local computers. This will be a “hands on” approach with lots of individual one-on-one help. Hopefully, we’ll learn how to set up a simple website with several linked pages, adding text and perhaps some photos.

September Web Design SIG Meeting

Tuesday, September 6, 2011 will be the date of the next Web Design SIG. We plan to further investigate RapidWeaver as a possible web design software for our group. Members should download the demo version of the software for use at the meeting.
August 2011: MacCamp
We hope you can join us for MacCamp! Randy Walker will start things off with a brief presentation of what’s new in Mac OS X 10.7 “Lion”, the latest operating system from Apple.
MacCamp runs from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the STFD Station #1 on Shattuck Road in Saginaw.

Our help panel will present you with some new ideas on where to go for that Macintosh assistance you need.
It will assist you in locating some of the help sites and forums we have have found useful on the internet and locally.

July 2011 DISIG Meeting
The DISIG meeting for July will take place on Saturday, July 16, 2011 in Midland at the Wheeler Road Church of Christ, starting at 9:30 am.
This month we would like to have everyone bring 3 8×10 photos to share with the group. They can be from last month’s photo walk, a vacation, or anything you choose. We would also like to discuss further the plans for future meetings. If you have any suggestions to share with the group, please share.
We hope to have a few new members at the meeting and would like to welcome them.
