Hi SMUG member – yikes, it’s December already and our holiday meeting is coming up quickly. We’ll be meeting at STFD#1 at 6171 Shattuck Rd. on Thursday, December 10. Here’s the schedule for the evening:
- 6:00 pm – Arrive with bells on!
- 6:30 pm – Buffet Dinner
- 7:30 pm – SMUG business meeting and election of SMUG board members
- 7:45 pm – Voluntary gift exchange; Fabulous SMUG Holiday Drawing; Social Time & Informal TechTalk
BUFFET
SMUG will provide KFC chicken (grilled and original), KFC coleslaw, coffee, tea, soft drinks, tableware and plates & cups.
We are asking our members to bring a dish to pass to add to the buffet table. Here’s a list of suggestions for you. Can you tell we’re hungry as we’re writing this!
- appetizer
- veggies & dip
- hot vegetable dish
- salad / fruit or vegetable
- rolls and butter
- dessert / Christmas candy
- or your specialty!
GIFT EXCHANGE / VOLUNTARY!
If you’d like to exchange a $15 (something techy) gift with another SMUG member, bring it WRAPPED to the meeting. We’ll have a great time giving and sharing!

SMUG 2010 dues
SMUG dues are due in January for 2010. However, if you’d like to bring a check or $20 cash to the December meeting – you’ll be all paid up for the year.
It’s been a good SMUG year and look forward to an even better SMUG 2010! We hope you can join us for a fun evening! We do ask that you RSVP for this meeting. We don’t want to guess when ordering the KFC! Please email that you’re coming or not by Monday, December 7. Thanks!
